Kelly Haley joined the Illinois State Athletic Training staff in the summer 2007 and was named as the primary athletic trainer for the Redbird volleyball team.
A National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certified trainer, Haley recently completed her master's degree in sport management from Florida State. While at FSU (2005-07), Haley was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the cross country and track and field teams. During her stint with the Seminoles, she worked with the two-time NCAA Division I men's track and field national championship team, as well as with Florida State's nationally-ranked women's track and field team.
The Manhattan, Ill., native received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Western Illinois in 2004. After graduation, Haley gained experience working in Orlando, Fla., at Walt Disney World, where she covered events and worked with the Southlake Hospital Outreach Developmental Soccer League from 2004-05.
