Goy is a first year graduate assistant at the Karin L. Bone Athletic Study Center, and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration at Illinois State. He received a B.S. in Organizational Leadership. Throughout his career as a member of the ISU track & field and cross country teams, he earned the 2002 NCAA Indoor Mile title, three All-American accolades, won 12 Missouri Valley Championships in the 800m, 1500m, Mile, 3000m and cross country, received three Verizon All-American honors, two Academic Athlete of the Year awards, was the 2002 State Farm Scholar Athlete of the Year, and in 2003 received the Dr. Charlotte West Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. After his graduation in 2003, Christian pursued his Olympic dream but missed it due to a severe foot injury. After completion of his Masters Degree, he will attempt to make the German Olympic team as a middle distant runner in 2008.
