Graduate Assistant

Jeremy Frey is currently in his second year as a graduate assistant at Illinois State University. While at ISU, Frey has worked with athletes from all 17 varsity programs.

Prior to Illinois State, he attended Central College in Pella, Iowa where he served as a student strength and conditioning coach. At Central he assisted with the implementation and design of strength and conditioning programs for all the Dutch varsity teams.

Additionally, Frey has excelled as a competitive powerlifter. In 2005 he set the Iowa APF Junior powerlifting record in the 220 lb. class, placed first at the U.S. Junior National meet in Dallas, Texas and won 220 lb. class at the WPC World Junior Powerlifting Championships in Helsinki, Finland. Frey graduated from Central College in 2004 and is currently pursing a master's degree in sport management. He is engaged to Celeste Blair and resides in Bloomington.
