Tyler Farwell has served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Illinois State since 2011.
Farwell completed his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Illinois State in August of 2010. He is currently pursuing his master's in Exercise Physiology. Prior to his undergraduate graduation, he completed an internship with Illinois State Strength and Conditioning during the summer of 2010. After graduation, Farwell continued on with Illinois State Strength and Conditioning as a graduate volunteer during the 2010-2011 academic year. During this time, he gained experience working with football, men's and women's basketball, cross country and women's volleyball.
A native of Sterling, Ill., Farwell served in the United States Navy from 2004-2008. Farwell is a USAW Certified Sports Performance Coach. He resides in Bloomington, IL., with his wife Amy.
