Elizabeth Gross began her first year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in June 2013. She serves as the primary athletic trainer for the women's swimming and diving teams at Illinois State University.
Prior to ISU, Gross graduated from Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. As an undergraduate, she completed four different internships with Marshfield Clinic of Eau Claire, Milwaukee Lutheran High School, the Milwaukee Wave (professional soccer team) and the University of Arizona.
In May, Gross completed a one year internship as athletic trainer for the women's rowing team at Ohio State.
Gross is a certified athletic trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC) and the state of Illinois, and a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
The Eau Claire, Wis., native is pursuing her master's degree in athletic training at Illinois State.
