Hannah Deutsch became a graduate assistant for the Karin L. Bone Athletics Study Center in August of 2011, after competing for Illinois State in gymnastics for four seasons. Deutsch primarily works with social media for the study center, along with student-athlete targeting.

Deutsch received her bachelor's degree in Public Relations, and is currently working towards a master's degree in Sport Management. As a student-athlete, Deutsch competed in the balance beam, floor exercise and vault for the Redbirds, which lead to two NCAA Regional appearances her junior and senior seasons in the balance beam.

Prior to joining the Illinois State staff, Deutsch worked as an Illinois State Athletics marketing and promotions student intern, where she assisted in gameday operations and the coordination of gameday promotions. Deutsch has also worked as a gymnastics instructor for World Olympics Gymnastics Academy during the summer of 2011. A native of Plano, TX., Deutsch currently resides in Normal, Ill.
