Peyton Deterding

Peyton Deterding is in his sixth season at Illinois State, where he oversees the facilities and game operations for all athletic venues and contests. Deterding has played a key role in numerous facility upgrades, which are highlighted by the ongoing $20 million renovation to Hancock Stadium, the $3.1 million construction of the stadium at Duffy Bass Field, the installation of artificial turf on the baseball infield, the $1.7 million relocation and renovation of the ISU Tennis Complex, as well as the recently completed men's basketball locker room renovation. Prior to joining ISU, the Denver, Iowa, native worked at Northern Illinois, where he served as the Huskies' event manager and football travel coordinator. As well, he spent time in game operations at Virginia and athletic ticketing at James Madison. A 1998 graduate of Northern Iowa, where he served as a men's basketball manager, Deterding completed his master's degree in exercise and sport science from Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2002. He and his wife Nikki reside in Bloomington, Ill with 3 year old twins Jaece and Hailey. |
