Bethany Bucholtz Position: Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations

Bucholtz, a native of Camp Point, Ill., enters her fourth year overseeing Illinois State's ticketing operation, after serving as the Redbirds' assistant ticket manager from 2001-02. After working as the assistant at ISU, Bucholtz worked in a similar role at Iowa, before spending five years as the assistant ticket manager at Illinois.

With the Illini, Bucholtz worked consistently with the Paciolan Ticketing System, which Illinois State Athletics also uses. She also assisted in the supervision of the staff, while overseeing the game-day ticketing operations for volleyball, soccer, men's and women's gymnastics, baseball and men's tennis.

She was also heavily involved in the ticketing for Illinois football and men's basketball games, including the 2005 Final Four and the 2008 Rose Bowl game.

Bucholtz earned her bachelor's degree in 1999 from Illinois-Springfield, and acquired her master's degree in 2002 from Illinois State.

She and her husband, Scott, reside in Normal, Ill.
