Newly Revised Red Alert Rewards Structure Kicks Off

NORMAL, Ill. -Illinois State Athletics is pleased to announce the newly revamped Red Alert rewards program takes effect in the New Year, when Redbird men's basketball takes on the Creighton Bluejays, Jan. 2 at 7:05 p.m., and the Northern Iowa Panthers, Jan. 5 at 7:05 p.m., in Redbird Arena.
The first 100 Red Alert members in attendance at the ISU vs. Creighton game will receive a set of Red Alert shooting sleeves, courtesy of Illinois National Guard. Each set includes two red and white Redbird themed shooting sleeves. Students must show their Red Alert card at the arena entrance to receive the give-a-way.
On Jan. 5, the first 300 members in attendance will receive a free Red Alert beanie, also courtesy of Illinois National Guard, after showing a valid Red Alert card. It is recommended for all Illinois State students to enter from the South entrance of Redbird Arena and check in at the table located behind the student section to receive the give-a-ways at both games.
Coming this 2013 spring season, Red Alert will begin a rewards raffle, where members will have the opportunity to enter for chances to win extreme prizes such as a Doug Collins signed basketball or throwing out the first pitch at a ISU baseball game.
