At the Illinois State Winter Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 12, 27 former Redbird student-athletes will receive their degrees. The group represents 10 ISU sports and five of the student-athletes competed for the Redbirds this fall.
The 2009 ISU Winter Commencement will take place Saturday in Redbird Arena. The first ceremony for graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Fine Arts will be held at 9 a.m. The ceremony for graduates of the College of Applied Science and Technology, College of Business and the College of Education will follow at 1 p.m. Illinois State will award 1,181 baccalaureate degrees, 216 master's degrees and 24 doctorates at Winter Commencement.
