NORMAL, Ill. - With seven years of experience in ticket office services at the NCAA Division I level, Bryan Goodall will bring his knowledge to Illinois State as the Assistant Athletic Director for Tickets, as announced by ISU Director of Athletics Gary Friedman Tuesday.
"We welcome Bryan Goodall and his wife Gretchen to The Redbird Family," Friedman said. "Bryan brings a strong ticket and sales background and a focus on customer service. His leadership will continue to move our ticket office towards our vision of enhancing our Redbird fan experience."
Goodall is excited to help continue and build on the success of the Redbird ticket office.
"I am excited for the opportunity to join the Illinois State Athletic Department," Goodall said. "I look forward to working with great staff that has been assembled here. Bethany (Bucholtz) did a lot of wonderful things in her time here, and I hope to continue the forward thinking she brought to the office and the athletic department as a whole."
Prior to joining the Illinois State staff, Goodall spent seven years at Illinois with his most recent stint of four years as the Assistant Athletic Ticket Manager. In that role, Goodall served as the ticket liaison for women's basketball, women's soccer, baseball and the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Football Championships. He was also responsible for setting up women's basketball, women's soccer and IHSA football championships in the Paciolan Ticketing System, including creating seasons, manifests and reorder of season tickets, along with other software responsibilities.
Goodall was also in charge of the daily printing and mailing of all single game tickets ordered through the box office and the ticket office website. He aided in the daily supervision of 20 students and extra help employees in the phone room and box office, while supervising three to nine student employees during home football, men's and women's basketball and IHSA football games. At Illinois, Goodall also allocated and distributed player complimentary tickets for the 2010 Texas Bowl, the 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, the 2011 Men's Baseball Regional and the 2011 NCAA Women's Volleyball Final Four.
Goodall was involved in the allocation of season ticket holders for football and men's and women's basketball at Illinois, and he is also familiar with eVenue online ticket selling set up and procedures.
