NORMAL, Ill. – This week’s schedule for Redbird All-Access and Birdcast, Illinois State Athletics' internet multimedia platforms, will feature exclusive coverage of Redbird men's and women's basketball and baseball.
The light week will begin with Thursday's Birdcast of The Mark Kingston Show and The Melinda Fischer Show, as they preview the upcoming weekend games. Joining head coach Mark Kingston, will be redshirt senior outfielder Ty Wiesemeyer. Head coach Melinda Fischer's guest player will be decided later in the week. Both shows will be available for on-demand listening Thursday afternoon.
Friday's Birdcast, will feature post-game comments from head coach Stephanie Glance, as the Illinois State women's basketball team competes in its first game of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in St. Charles, Mo. If the team moves to the next round, post-game interviews and play-by-play highlights will be available after each game.
The weekend coverage will consist of Redbird baseball post-game interviews with Coach Kingston, recapping each game in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational in Winter Haven, Fla. Fans can listen to Kingston's post-game interviews on-demand on Redbird Birdcast or by clicking here.
