Winter

Instructional Hitting Clinic - Session #2
  • When: January 25 & February 1, 8 & 15
    • Elementary Participants: 5:00 - 6:15 PM
    • Jr. High Participants: 6:15 - 7:30 PM
    • High School Participants: 7:30 - 8:45 PM
  • Where: Horton Field House on the campus of Illinois State University
  • Ages: 5-18 (Grades K-12)
  • Cost: $90 or $200 for Sessions #1 & #2
  • Registration Deadline: January 23, 2009
  • Camp Details: The purpose of this camp is to teach participants the fundamentals of hitting. Instruction will focus on improving mechanics and offensive approach. Each weekly session will being with instruction and drill work. The second half of each session is reserved for hitting games. Statistics will be recorded each week so that participants can see their progress from week to week.

Winter Pitching Clinic

  • When: January 11, 2009
  • Where: Horton Field House on the campus of Illinois State University
  • Ages: All high school aged pitchers (Grades 9-12)
  • Cost: $75 per participant
  • Registration Deadline: January 9, 2009
  • Camp Details: Jim Brownlee's Winter Pitching Clinic is a great opportunity for high school pitchers to learn Coach Brownlee's successful pitching philosophies. Coach Brownlee and his staff will instruct on what it takes to be successful at the high school and collegiate levels. The clinic will focus on correct pitching mechanics and will include a session on proper strength training for pitchers. Each participant will also receive a written evaluation following the camp.
